The best Gruyère in Switzerland!
The alpine pastures that produce Gruyère in the Vaud Jura are renowned far and wide, and some have received prestigious awards rivalling those from Gruyère itself. For example, the AOP Gruyère from La Bassine alpine pasture, in Les Amburnex, received the award for the best Swiss cheese (at the Swiss Cheese Awards).
We love taking you to the alpine pastures where we ourselves spent time or worked during our childhood. So many memories to share with you!
Our preference goes to L’alpage de La Baronne in La Cure or the Frutières de Nyon, not far from La Givrine. There, you’ll discover how Gruyère is produced, visit the maturing cellar with its substantial stock, and meet a cheese-maker who will passionately introduce you to their craft.
