Intermediate level. This week offers 5 days of snowboarding at La Dôle, at the gateway to the Lake Geneva region. Located 35 minutes from Geneva and 45 minutes from Lausanne, La Dôle mountain is the focal point above Lake Geneva, facing the Alps with a splendid view of Mont Blanc.
Supervised by a local Swiss snowboard instructor, children discover new slopes or tricks and progress in snowboarding every day while having fun and making new friends. This week is for children who already snowboard. Its objective: to consolidate basics and improve technique, have fun with simple freestyle tricks.
Day 1: Parents and children meet at the meeting point. Briefing with the children at the start of the ski lift. Information on the week’s schedule, level check, and group formation. Fun games & activities on snowboards.
Day 2: Safety and prevention on the slopes, respect for others. Group snowboarding and progression exercises. Initiating turns. Fun games & activities on snowboards.
Day 3: Group snowboarding and progression exercises. Freestyle & tricks. Fun games & activities on snowboards.
Day 4: Exercises and preparation for the test & medal. Group snowboarding and progression exercises. Fun games & activities on snowboards.
Day 5: Exercises, test & medal ceremony, test booklet, and diploma (optional). Week concludes with parents and children at the meeting point.

Bring some pocket money (Swiss francs and euros) for potential personal expenses (kiosk, ice cream, postcards…etc…) and CHF 12.- per meal if no personal picnic

Level 2, intermediate snowboarder
-1 snowboard with adequate adjustment for your child (goofy, regular).
(If you place your left foot forward, then you snowboard in a regular stance. Conversely, if you place your right foot forward on the snowboard, you are goofy.)
-1 pair of snowboard boots
-1 pair of ski pants
-1 ski jacket with a hood that protects the face well (in case of wind)
-fleece and warm clothes
-beanie
-helmet mandatory!
-2 pairs of ski gloves or mittens -ski mask (mandatory)

-the snowboard must have the first and last name on it.
Don’t forget the ID CARD (to put in the ski jacket pocket)! We are crossing the border!
Your child must carry an INFORMATION CARD with their name, surname, address, phone number, and the language they speak.

Supervision is provided by a snowboard instructor. We reserve the right to cancel the week depending on conditions or lack of participants. Snowboard lessons are given in all weather.
Price:
Our prices are per person and include supervision by an instructor, ski pass, booklet, test, and medal.
Group activities:
The number of participants in group activities is counted per instructor, based on safety criteria for the activity itself. The weeks take place in a good atmosphere and for the well-being of the young people. Disrespect and actions not in line with the smooth running of the week will be sanctioned, and the child will be sent back to their parents.
Registration:
A registration is only considered upon payment of a registration fee corresponding to the price of the week, i.e., CHF 490.- per child.
Cancellation:
If, for any reason, a registered person withdraws from participating in an activity, a 100% retention fee is applied. Any week started will not be refunded except in the case of a medical problem, where a week credit will be opened for the child.
Insurance:
Participants are not insured by the instructor. It is the participant’s responsibility to have adequate health and accident insurance (including accidents that may occur during mountain snowboarding). Each participant must have helicopter rescue and repatriation insurance. For participants who do not have such insurance, we offer a formula with REGA to be completed and paid before the camp. Price/person: CHF 30.
Parents’ responsibility:

– full responsibility for damages caused intentionally or unintentionally to facilities or
other objects belonging to or rented by PROGRESSION
– Repatriation costs following expulsion
– Any postal return costs
Medical file:
