Mountaineering Level 3. Mountain route level AD-D (Fairly Difficult-Difficult). Our base camp is at the CAS Moiry hut (Grimentz) in Val d’Anniviers, with dormitory accommodation. Ascent to the Moiry hut, rock climbing school, multi-pitch climbing, crevasse rescue on the Moiry glacier, and traverse of the Couronne de Bréona (3159 m). Designed for experienced mountaineers who have already completed several weeks of alpine training (with excellent physical condition and a good climbing level). Picnics are enjoyed outdoors at the base of the routes or in the mountains. Breakfast and dinner are taken at the hut, and participants assist the warden with tasks at the refuge.
Day 1: Participants meet at the Shell station in Signy on Monday at 10:00 AM, bus transfer to Grimentz. Ascent to the CAS Moiry hut, alpine instruction.
Day 2: Piola multi-pitch climbing above the Moiry hut (3-5 pitches), in autonomous rope teams. The most competent participants will lead and fly-climb two other participants under the supervision of a mountain guide. Placement of cams and nuts on the route.
Day 3: Alpine rock instruction: ridge progression, belaying, rope handling, short and long roping, rope positioning on rock spikes, setting up mountain anchors, abseiling on a ridge, preparing a ridge climb, route choice and meteorology, retreat in case of bad weather.
Day 4: Alpine ice instruction: crevasse rescue, simple and double pulley systems. Setting up ice screw anchors for rescue. Practical application in a crevasse.
Day 5: Application climb of concepts learned so far: Couronne de Bréona traverse and return to the valley, bus return to the Shell station in Signy, participants depart at 4:00 PM.

Supervision is provided by a certified mountain guide. We reserve the right to cancel the camp depending on conditions or insufficient participants.
Price:
Our prices are per person and include guide supervision, half-board in camping, refuge, gîte, or hotel, picnic lunch, technical equipment, and transport. Drinks at refuges are not included.
Group activities:
Group activity numbers are calculated by the number of people per guide based on safety criteria for the activity itself. The camps are run in a good atmosphere and for the well-being of the young people. Disrespect and actions not conforming to the smooth running of the camp will be sanctioned, and the child sent home to their parents.
Registration:
A registration is only considered valid upon payment of a registration fee corresponding to the camp price.
Cancellation:
If, for any reason, a registered person withdraws from an activity, a 100% retention fee will be applied. No refund will be given for any camp that has started, except in the case of a medical problem, where a camp credit will be issued to the participant.
Insurance:
Participants are not insured by the mountain guide. It is the participant’s own responsibility to have adequate health and accident insurance (including accidents that may occur during mountain tours).
Each participant must have helicopter rescue and repatriation insurance. For participants who do not have such insurance, we offer a REGA plan to be completed and paid before the camp. Price/person: CHF 30.
Participant’s responsibility:
The participant or the participant’s legal representative assumes:
– full responsibility for damages caused intentionally or unintentionally to facilities or
other items owned or rented by PROGRESSION
– Repatriation costs due to dismissal
– Postal return costs for clothing and other items
Medical file:
Any medical problem must be reported to PROGRESSION in writing.
Transport:
Each participant must make their own way to the camp meeting point
