This week consists of 5 days of climbing in the Alps. Location depends on weather and season: Lower Valais, Piedmont, Southern Alps, Hautes-Alpes, Ticino, Graubünden. Camp in tents or mountain huts depending on the location. Plaisir Sud.
Below is an overview of the Lower Valais program: We gradually train participants in rope techniques, knots, and rock progression methods. During this learning period, we travel by minibus to the climbing school cliffs of Dorénaz, Miéville, Chemin-dessus, St Triphon. Accommodation is in dormitories at the Martigny campsite. In case of rain, we go to an indoor climbing gym. Picnics are enjoyed outdoors at the foot of the routes. Participants can shower every evening at the campsite in clean facilities. Evening meals are taken at a large communal table, with participants helping with meal preparation and household chores.
Day 1: Welcome of participants at the Shell station in Signy, bus journey to Martigny. Check-in at the TCS campsite in Martigny, overnight in a dormitory.
Learning belaying and knot tying, first steps on boulders, familiarization with climbing shoes, first climbing routes. (Dorénaz la Carrière)
Day 2: Progression of climbing learning, body balance, foot positioning, climbing rhythm, breathing, rock reading. (Miéville)
Day 3: Easy to medium climbing routes depending on skill level. (Chemin-dessus or Colombey)
Day 4: Multi-pitch routes in Dorénaz or Pilier de la Pissechèvre in St Maurice
Day 5: Camp tidying and climbing in St Triphon, return to Nyon by minibus. Debriefing with participants at the Shell Station.

Supervision is provided by a certified mountain guide. We reserve the right
to cancel the camp depending on conditions or lack of participants.
Price:
Our prices are per person and include supervision by a guide, half-board at a campsite, mountain hut, gîte or hotel, picnic lunch, technical equipment, and transportation. Drinks in mountain huts are not included.
Group activities:
The number of participants in group activities is calculated per guide based on safety criteria for the activity itself. The camps take place in a good atmosphere and for the well-being of the young people. Disrespect and actions not conforming to the smooth running of the camp will be sanctioned, and the child will be sent home to their parents.
Registration:
A registration is only considered upon payment of a registration fee corresponding to the camp price.
Cancellation:
If, for any reason, a registered person withdraws from an activity, a 100% retention fee will be applied. Any camp started will not be refunded except in the case of a medical problem, where a camp credit will be opened for the participant.
Insurance:
Participants are not insured by the mountain guide. It is the participant’s responsibility to be adequately covered by health and accident insurance (including accidents that may occur during mountain tours).
Each participant must have helicopter rescue and repatriation insurance. For participants who do not benefit from such insurance, we offer a formula with REGA to be completed and paid before the camp. Price/person: CHF 30.
Participant’s responsibility:
The participant or the participant’s legal representative assumes:
– full responsibility for damages caused intentionally or unintentionally to facilities or
other objects belonging to or rented by PROGRESSION
– Repatriation costs due to expulsion
– Postal return costs for clothing and other items
Medical file:
Any medical problem must be reported to PROGRESSION in writing.
Transportation:
Each participant must travel by their own means
