This week consists of 5 days of climbing in the Jura. Our base camp is located in La Dôle at the Pile Dessus chalet or the La Combe Gelée chalet. From the chalet, we travel by minibus to the climbing areas in the La Dôle region. This camp is designed for beginners and advanced beginners. We gradually train children in belaying methods, knots, and rock progression techniques. Accommodation is in dormitories in the chalet. Picnics are enjoyed outdoors at the foot of the climbing routes. Evening meals are taken at a large communal table, and children participate in meal preparation and household chores. Vegetables or fruits are available every day, both at picnic and dinner. Games are organized at the chalet in the evening.
Day 1: Parents and children arrive at the chalet, dormitory setup, distribution of technical equipment for the week. St-Cergue cliff: learning belaying and tying knots, familiarization with top-roping, first climbing steps in this fantastic climbing garden for children.
Day 2: St-George cliff: easy climbing routes. Progression of climbing learning, body balance, foot placement, climbing rhythm, breathing, rock reading. First easy lead climb.
Day 3: Pont cliff: slightly more difficult routes, easy lead climb. Magnificent lake view. At noon, children prepare a fire and grill sausages on sticks.
Day 4: Climbing day in La Dôle.
Day 5: Chalet tidying and cleaning. Chemin au Loup cliff. Climbing, return of technical equipment. Parents arrive to pick up children.

Drive 2 km and at the level of the winter parking lot for the Balancier chairlift (located below on the right), after a blue P (Parking) sign, turn left onto the small road to the Chalet Hôtel Côté Dôle (sign “Chalet côté Dôle”). In front of it, turn left onto the small dirt/gravel path (small sign “La Pile Dessus CAF Chalon”) to the Pile Dessus chalet. Park in front of the gate on the roadside.
